TE is now our weakness

The defense overall is not bad, but we do need some mean DT's and another LB. I fear we will be run over again by certain teams.

this defense is bad. we have a few pass rushers, but DTs suck and unproven. LBs are bad bunch and their best who is injured, yet again and safties are cooked and 3 CBs coming off major injuries.

TE is not a weakness. RB is way more sketchy. LT is a hope position too.

Ferg is solid, Schoon n Spann-Ford played well last season when Ferg went down. You have a legit starter and capable backups.

Best chance we have with the players we have to improve run defense. There’s no stud DT to go get. Score early and often and defense will be fine. Now that means improving in red zone because last year we just didn’t get it done in redzone. Hopefully new staff can get that fixed

We had the pick to draft Tyler Warren, a generational tight end. He will be the next Tony Gonzales and we wiffed just like we did with Randy Moss.

I disagree about weakness, even if talking about the offensive side.

I would put Left Tackle still as a bigger weakness/unknown.

Ferguson/Schoon are service-able tight ends at worse. Can get by with either. IMO Ferguson wasn't the same last year after the left knee injury and then of course he missed a few games due to a concussion.

Every year is different, but I wouldn't call 1 td between the two of them "serviceable". At this point I'm just hoping Spann-Ford improves...

Oh I wouldn't say out DTs suck, Odigizuwa is a pretty good 3T, Toia at least has size, and wouldn't be too hard for him to play better than Mazi. DT's aren't Great Wall-level, but there's worse DTs in the league.

As usual, we'll see, you may be right...
