TE Sleeper

There are a couple of TE prospects* I like that I think will go somewhere between rounds 3-5, but one guy I particularly think has a real chance of developing into something special is Colby Parkinson from Stanford.

Measuring in at just over 6’-7”, 252 lbs, he’s a huge target.

What I like most about him are his movement skills. It’s obvious on tape he’s a put together athlete and not some gangly guy lumbering around the field ala Gavin Escobar. He also plays with an edge to him which I always like.

*Mitchell Wilcox from Univ. of S. Florida is guy that reminds me a lot of Aaron Hernandez (on the field) if you’re looking for a sort of Evan Engram type movement TE.

*Adam Trautman from Dayton is an intriguing prospect with good physical traits and athleticism which helped him dominate lower level competition. He’s a projection guy with a lot of upside.

Is Parkinson still a sleeper? He's definitely a guy who moves pretty well for his size, but I'm not sure if that means he moves well. He's a tough guy to get a read on.

He wouldn't block a slight breeze. Him and Jarwin would be super liabilities in the run game.

Interesting pass catching-target though, especially in later rounds.

I like Trautman in the later rounds but I don't think he is a sleeper any more after his performance at the SR Bowl.

He is on the top 100 list for most draft experts. I think he goes day two.
