I'm not one of the numerous posters who goes around starting threads that state the same anti-Owens rhetoric that has been repeated ad nauseum for the past 3 years.

Owens celebrated with many of his teammates in San Francisco and Philadelphia all the time. Why? Because they liked him.

You're operating under the false premise that those locker rooms were actually "divided."

The reality is, a select few had a problem with him (mostly, the ones he offended via the media, Garcia and McNabb). The others may not have agreed with what Owens said or did (which really was very little that was manipulated and blown up into a huge story, at least in San Francisco), but they still liked him as a teammate and stayed out of it.

I sure am, because I knew someone in that locker room.

To me, the funny thing is.... the people bashing Jordan for his constant talking about Owens.... are the ones who are constantly talking about Owens themselves (though, in a negative manner).

In the end, both sides are talking about Owens as much as the other side is.

The amusing thing of course, is if Owens actually were to read this board, he'd probably be thrilled to get so much attention. (Just speculating).

Me? I just find this stuff entertaining.

I love these Owens threads. I want the organization to make a decision and move on it soon (just so they can go about building the team). But a selfish part of me enjoys watching both sides bicker back and forth about Owens. Makes good entertainment.

Come on Hostile. You seem to have developed some sort of agenda against TO recently, and it shows.

I'm not a TO worshipper, to be honest I don't care if he stays or goes... but my opinion is that his on the field contributions outweigh his eccentric personality (which I believe is completely and utterly overblown by the MEDIA, and always has been). TO is not holding this team back.

What we have here is another year of 'playoff envy' and 'looking for a scapegoat'. Terrell Owens is not the problem... and I sincerely believe that. People that compare TO to Pacman really make me laugh.
