Yet they held on to Elliott through his numerous transgressions during his 6 years - plus extended his contract earlier than need be -or needed to.You get the feeling that Cooper and Collins are cap causalities more so because of their personality and related consequences.
Collins bribed someone and cost himself and the team embarrassment besides not being on the field for 5 games after being given a season to recover and get healthy.
The same can be said of Cooper. He missed 2 games - really 3 and it disrupted the continuity of the passing game while costing 20 million with a newer contract. It could be argued the offense didn’t really recover from that when in the hunt for the one seed.
The FO had seen enough of these two and cut bait with decent backups available for less.
Is this about team culture? I think there is something to it.
I don't get it. Players missed games for the same reason that Cooper missed games. It’s not like their was some magic potion. You get the feeling that Cooper and Collins are cap causalities more so because of their personality and related consequences.

depends on who they draft. The ole addition by subtraction argument. If only it were true. Does anyone really think the product on the field will be better this coming season? I kinda doubt it.

Team culture with the way the GM and Owner acts?
Yeah right.
Mica Parsons would be one.Which players?
I think you’re onto something. I think the management and coach really thought they had a chance last year. When guys weren’t there for whatever reason and the effort that was put out in the playoffs I think really upset them. Now they’re getting rid of the ones that irritated themmaybe coach mccarthy is building the team he wants.
maybe he wants his kinda guys and not garretts rkg's.
maybe mccarthy has more of a say than some think.
maybe he's pissed at how this team didn't finish and is holding who he can accountable.
just a thought.
the culture is kiss The Joneses arses and take a discount because we are Dallas. The culture should be about winning but it's not.
