It's difficult to project prior to fa, but let's assume:

Gregory, Kearse, Wilson, Hooker, Lve or a veteran starter signed, Anger, McQuaide all are resigned. Low cost veteran TE signed. DLaw, Cooper remain with the team.

The likes of Shultz, Connor Williams, Gallup, Neal, Kazee, Urban, Watkins, Armstrong all playing elsewhere.

Needs by priority:

Left Guard-McGovern struggled with his opportunity, team could always kick Collins inside.

Tight End-need more of a balanced, long-term answer at the position.

Linebacker-Cox can replace Neal as the coverage, nickel guy, but team needs another strong run defender.

Defensive Tackle-who plays NT? Gallimore? Need more of a 3 down NT who offers rush abilities and is force against the run.

Center-team has some options, but need to upgrade the position.

Free Safety-would have Wilson, Hooker back, but the team needs a long-term answer at the position.

There are other small needs, but these are the priority ones.

Left out pass rushers. We need inside and outside rushers.

I used to go through this every year.
Write up a player evaluation, and needs, woh to keep, possibly keep, let walk.

Every year, same thing, no huge changes, however the drafts have been better. Just as I did my mock drafts.
But now, since nothing really ever changes, it all just hurts my head. Don't want to use any time on it. Not right now. Maybe if I get bored enough, I may spend a little time on it. Or do a few quick mock drafts later on.

However, I do like reading through all this, to get other fans opinions, as long as they are logical.
As we all know we will get the opinions of dumping certain players that is impossible to do so, at this time.

We need to improve our short play production. Slot rcvr, RB and TE if Schultz leaves

I don’t agree your pass rush is fine as is. Will Micah play 17 games at DE next year? If not, it’s one of the talent gaps between Dallas and the other playoff teams: they all have monster names on the edge. DLaw and RG are good players but I don’t think they carry the same precedence. One premiere guy could transform your whole D

Gotta fix run blocking.

Not sure if that is by additions or a better coaching philosophy.

What I would NOT do is not get it fixed then say we will work on it next offseason.

All too often they rely on players being something they arent....and the Biadasz following Fred story was all cute and stuff but he may very well be just a backup in this league.

At the very least they need a Looney type (not him) around as an alternative.

I just don't see how they can count on Biadasz and Farinok moving ahead. Have a vet option who hopefully ends up as a backup.

Also it's fairly popular to pile on Schultz over the run blocking, but he really was atrocious at what they would ask him to do at times.

Sure he piled up nice stats as Daks dump off option but I really dont even want him here on a cheap deal.

I honestly think finding a starting LG via free agency or draft is at the top of their list.

- OG
- C
- LB
- S
- TE
- 1 Tech DT
- speedy PR/WR
- FG kicker

- We may not know what Cox's knee status is gonna be coming off knee surgery ACL serious injury - plus i'm not passing up high regarded LBs cuz i'm gambling on
a 4th rd guy who rarely got into the reg. defense.

- I'm guessing Quinn is gonna scheme a way for both Osa and Gallimore to be starters - but neither are imposing run stuffers we really need...
