K you know I love DL just as much as you do...

But when a blue chip WR prospect falls to 17 you HAVE to take him. We also actually needed a WR. You don't like that pick?

Hey - let's both cross our fingers for Madubuike in the 3rd.

I think we've upgraded our two weakest starting positions so can't complain. I get that a SWR wasn't ideally how we used our 1st but it's Ceedee Lamb and I have Diggs as a late 1st an massive upgrade on Anthony Brown as an outside corner.

I'm up in the air on the pick.

Basically, we're not going to compete for super bowls until we fix the D. Poe and McCoy are great bandaids at their age, but they are just bandaids.

The super bowl participants this season have both spent multiple top 3 round picks on the DL. Not an accident.

These picks most likely put us yet another year away.

Who listed those needs. We had alot of needs. Including CB and WR

Hell I was convinced half the form would join a monetary and become monks if we didnt draft a CB in the first 2 rounds

You think WR is one of our weakest starting positions? Man, I don't even know what to say!!!!!!!

Several sources.

WR was a need? Then why did we pay Coop? Honestly, how do you see it as a need?

Because your #3 WR plays almost 70% of the snaps. Cobb was targeted almost 90 times last year. It was a need. Probably not our #1 need, but you dont pass on the 6th player on your board just because a lesser player is a bigger need.

I get it, but we did add quality FA DTs that are upgrades from last year. Hill has potential and was a 2nd rounder so let's not rule him out yet.

A 3rd WR is basically a starter in this day and age and we didn't have one. We just got one that is so darn good he might bypass Copper...not kidding. He also gives us financial flex in not resigning Gallup or trading Coop.

CB was also a need as we've got multiple contracts expiring after next season. I remember having a similar grade on Chido as a I do on Diggs...early 2nd rounder with high ceilings. Chido has turned into a quality starter and I think Diggs can do the same.

Keep your eye out for Madubuike and Elliot. If we can land one of those dudes in the 3rd it would be ANOTHER steal.

Anyone who doesn't like this draft is pretty much down to the level of criticizing player hair styles. These two picks were homeruns and we could get 2nd round value with our 3rd coming up.

Im actually not 100% sure he is being serious

I'd like to know what Safety/DT/TE you would have taken at 17.

The next player at either of those positions came off the board at #36

Our starting CB’s are free agents after next year.

If you look at the 22 starters then yes, our 3rd WR was the weakest starter.

I can't stop watching Lamb break tackles for days and break off huge plays. He's not a burner, but he's got Gallup like speed and route running with more quickness, elite ball skills, elite body control and elite YAC ability. I think he needs to bulk up a touch but man he has special potential.

Hopkins is such a good comp IMO.

Because we lost a WR in FA that caught 55 balls last year. McCarthy loves to play a lot of 11 personnel and we, frankly, didn't have a good 3rd WR. When Lamb fell, it was a no brainer.

Geezus people.

Day 3 should bring a safety somehow, for Dallas thye're like buried treasure and we dont have a shovel, and once in awhile you can find some offensive line players in the later rounds. Those are the positions where I would look at.

Throw in the fact that a great 3rd wide receiver reduces the need for a top-notch tight end.
