Exactly,but their is no accountability for our Captain obvious GM.I am a long time since Landry and Roger Dallas era lifetime fan,I guess that is why we hang in there , but it is bewildering and embarrassing to watch ol Jerry ,act like a football guy when we all know he is not.Just terrible.

Am I the only one who chuckled when he said the Eagles GM is a little bit better GM than Dallas? Please man.
Their 3rd string QB put up more points in one 1/4 than Rush put up in 8.
The one thing I will say is WR1 is such an incredibly important position and Dallas wouldn't let this happen with Dak and 88.
But there is a large talent gap. I can't think of a position Dallas is better at except maybe DE.

I mean is that your take I mean is that what you think you're watching that somehow they embarrassed our team no there's nobody on that Cowboys organization or roster that thinks the eagles were impressive at all because they got to play a very very injured Cowboys team and they took advantage and great for them but that doesn't typically happen and there's all facts that you need to know is when Prescott is starting we have a healthy team we don't get blown out and for sure we don't get swept as a matter of fact it was a hard time beating Prescott... For sure everyone thought Cooper rush was gonna be the savior no he bookended some really bad play and allowed our competitors to embar....get a better draft pick because of it

I don't care if they have more talent when we are healthy there's a reason why that we have split the series for 18 years this is the first time since 2011 that they swept the series and the fact is the Dallas Cowboys beat them twice for the division in the last four years injuries are the major reason the Dallas Cowboys were not competitive this year and one of the main reasons that eagles look better if you don't think that then why is it that our starters who are apparently less talented who apparently have have worse coaches a worse GM how is it that the healthy Dallas Cowboys team led by Prescott is 9 and four against the eagles and 33 and eight against the NFC East explain to me how this talent gap is so big and that you think they have so much Cortana why is it that they can't absolutely just beat us like this when we're healthy?

You don't have an answer because it's not true they have a lot of talent yes but the talent gap is not that big because it doesn't take that much to split the series with them and beat them for the division when we're healthy they just beat up on our preseason roster if you can't see it I can't help you if you can't see how many talented players we didn't have because of injury right from training camp all the way to now just constantly weekly losing players yes it sounds like an excuse but if you stay healthy in this league you have a chance to do what they're doing... the gap is not that big that's what parity is...

Say what you want but I have proof I saw their team collapse the last six games the last season and the Cowboys be the number two seed the Cowboys won the division just last year and our team what's so much talent somehow took the division from them and yet you think there's a big gap and I'm telling you there's not it looks like that on paper the Dallas Cowboys have a very good roster when healthy there's no team in this league that can make up for that much I don't care how good an offseason you have it if you need an argument just look at the 49ers right one of the best G miss coaching some of the most talented teams in the league could not overcome half the injuries we had I mean why not they're in a weak Division I watched those teams play that's a weak division it's not that strong most of the NFC East is pretty weak and down right now if you stay relatively healthy and you keep your starters on the field on a regular basis for most of the year when you end the year with almost all your starters ready to go for the playoffs you're gonna have success in the NFC...

then i watch them beat up on our back ups, yup they sure beat up on our backups.kudos.

Ok, Mr. Jones (unsure which one you happen to be, Jerry, Stephen, or maybe Junior).

Go position by position and tell me Dallas is the more talented roster. Do starters first then go to the depth that was on the field against them yesterday.

Who has the better starting QB? Both have warts. Both dominate the NFC East. One has been to the NFC Championship game and a SB where he out performed Patrick Mahomes. The other struggles individually in the playoffs. Advantage Eagles.

Who has the better starting RB? Do we even have to do this? Advantage Eagles.

Who has the better OL? I'd say they have better tackles for sure. They have an All-Pro Guard as did Dallas but Martin is done in Dallas maybe in the League. Tyler Smith is incredible. Their other guard is as well. The centers are young for both teams but trending in the right direction. Most people would say the Eagles have the better OL. I agree.

Do we have to do starting WRs? CeeDee is an All-Pro and WR1 anywhere. So is AJ Brown. Smith is by far better than Cooks. Advantage Eagles.

Who has the better starting TE? Ferguson and Goedert are probably a push.

We can go defense as well if you like. Micah is the best defensive player on the field for either team. But, I'd say their DL is better than the Cowboys DL.

Bland, Diggs, and TLew are better than Slay, Johnson, and DeJong (Sp?). But, it isn't by much. Advantage Dallas.

LBs may be a slight edge Philadelphia because Overshown and the kid from Notre Dame are very green. Overshown showed major flashes this season but is still an incomplete grade. Their Georgia LB has shown major flashes this season as well although he is still an incomplete grade.

Safeties? May be a push as well. Although many on this board think the Cowboys safeties need to be replaced. I like Hooker and Wilson. I think they fit Quinn's system better than Zimmer's though.

Who has better depth? That may be where their gap is largest. Making them the more talented team. All of that can be resolved IF Dallas takes a better approach to their offseason in 2025.

look this was not too long ago folks I just want to post this because of the hilarity in here about this gap allegedly by the eagles beating up on our backups this was just not too distant it's happened for us as well these things just come in cycles they caught us on a very down year they played a really bad Cowboys roster the first game and even worse roster the second game but somehow they're getting flowers for it no they beat up on our preseason team and folks this is not a big gap this is an illusion of mirage and more of you all just want to jump all over Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys 'cause you think they could have done better in the offseason free agency to cover up about 18 injuries and that's not gonna happen some of that may be true he could have done better Jerry could have had a better offseason but that did not lead to this disparaging point differential for these two games it happens I just wanted to point this out just in case you all just wanna use recency bias 'cause it just happened and you feel like jumping on the bandwagon and just just stomping and disparaging your own team i get it we're all upset.
