Let em talk. All it has done is reveal the character of the players/team.

That's what I'm afraid of....

We have enough characters.

We need a quiet team of Character.

thats part of the problem on this team, too many big mouths on this team blabbing, and the media twisting things.

Just like jacquee taylor said the other day, that the plane trip was due to a player or jerry jones being late, that wasnt the case due to what mickey spagnola said. Mickey said he was on the flight, and the reason for the delay was due to foul weather in dallas and philly.

Now, does the media take things and twist things, yes.

even michael irvin caught ed werder in some stuff that he added to and put his interpertation, not actual facts.

so media does twist things to their advantage to try to make a story.

so now i would not talk to media, make them sweat trying to get a story.

now another thing to think about, how will that affect us fans, we wont get the news that we are used to, but thats a good thing too because neither will the other teams be getting the break down on the cowboys either.

They should talk to the media, but they should handle their gripes and complaints in house, and not in the media.
I would agree, but the poll isn't that flexible, so I voted no.

Yes, I do want the "team" to continue to talk to the media.

And by "team", I mean one person, the Head Coach.

I liked how Bill Parcells handled the media and it would be great to employ his tactics.

Remember, the media is only a distraction if the organization allows it to be.

I'd rather they kept quiet and said nothing to the media. Of course, eventually, a lot of the fans that want that would then accuse them of not showing enough emotion, or being pissed off enough, or blah, blah, blah cause they're not coming out and saying it.

It's sort of like the leadership thing. During portions of the season all you heard was how people just wanted someone to step up and say "This is what I'm going to do. This is how I'm going to change this" and now days if someone says something they're planning to do better, or change, they want them to shut up and just do it.

It's a never ending cycle.

I, however, would be thrilled if the media couldn't get a word out of anyone, at all, from VR for the next year or two and see how the media likes things then.

right now, jerry and wade need to talk and straighten the mess out they created.

Everyone else needs to shut their piehole.

And when the season starts, the only voices I want to hear excluding wednesday when the locker room is open, are the head coach and the QB.

not the stinking owner, gm, coordinators, assistant coaches, WIDE RECEIVERS or anyone else.

and after the game, I dont want to hear anyone commenting on the game other than the qb and the head coach. If these players have a beef with the playcalling, the defense, the coaches or temperature of the shower keep it in the stinking locker room where it belongs.

Probably not talk.

There's nothing wrong with talking, but the problem is that in a five minute interview, literally a few seconds of it will be parsed out and painted in the most negative light possible by the jokers in this town.

So silence is probably better.
