Team Stats

The turnovers are great of course. But the problem comes when you face Brady or Rodgers who don't make mistakes. Especially in the playoffs.

I hope this team is not TOO reliant on turnovers. They have to win games without turnovers also

I don’t buy it. Brady had three picks against GB last year in the second half and looked awful in the title game.

we picked Brady off 2 times and had 2 fumble recoveries. Turnovers are not luck, this team works constantly on it. During the broadcast they said McCarthy has 5 jugg machines out there and every defensive players work with them. No accident the Cowboys are creating turnover

We had 4 turnovers vs tamps. I'd have to look but I think 1 was a fumble recovered and 3 int's (1 int came at the end of the 1st half) that was back when they were mostly healthy.

I never said it was luck.

I said the team needs to win games even when they don't get turnovers.

Just because they have 5 jugs machines on the practice field does not mean they are going to get 4 turnovers a game. There will come a time when the defense will not get a turnover. Hopefully they can overcome that. That's all I'm saying

No does not mean they will get 4 every game but yes Dallas goes into games looking to create pressure and the turnovers, that is part of the job of defense getting the ball back into the hands of the offense. Turnovers clearly have been a big part through out the season.

It's good seeing them have to put on their pants, one leg at a time again...

Clock and field position dominance.

Yes thrnovers have been a big part of the season.

I remember in the 2010's the Bears would also get tons of turnovers. That's one of the big reasons the Cowboys hired Rod Marinelli. But as soon as the turnovers dried up, the Bears were toast.

I don't want that to happen in Dallas

So?

Turnovers are not a given. You always want them. But what happens when you don't get them? Can they win without them?

I hope so

Dallas has done great is 3rd down stops #1 in the NFL at 31.22% conversions. So it is not just turnovers having said that yes I expect them to create big plays and they can do that by getting pressure on the QB and getting to the ball. This is an attacking defense that brings a lot of speed to the table

I like what I am seeing from this defense.

The Cards will be a test. They have a QB with a unique style and weapons at receiver and TE. They have struggled lately but still present a challenge, especially in containing Murray.

Sunday will be interesting

I agree. But I think if Cards can't run the ball effectively this defense will be all over Murray.
