It might be a reach but if some other teams were going like ours you would start to see some public discontent coming out. I think if things don't change soon there will be.

If the media start asking should Cassel be starting sure, otherwise I'm not sure they turn.

I learned a long time ago when I was a leader in the military. Lack of "public" discontent does not mean there is "no" discontent. Just sayin'.

I agree with you but even the have to be questioning the starting QB. He just all out sucks.

I wasn't so much on Weeden even today until the last two drives. He kinda fell apart there. If we're going to strip down the game plan and just take the high percentage stuff, that's ok with me, but the bad decision on the pick, and the bad throws--especially at the end--at the goal line were rough. At this point, Cassel would have a month on the team and two weeks of that to prepare for the next game, so looking at him makes legitimate sense where it didn't the last two weeks.

I don't put it all on Weeden, either. But he isn't exactly exuding any kind of confidence and that does take a toll on every one else.
He just looks like he plays with no concern. That has to get old when some guys are working their tales off.

With the BYE week we need to prep Cassell and give that a shot. Our defense really showed some promise with Hardy and McClain back. No doubt we can beat NY and PHI with newly added pieces on defenses. I don't see this team quitting, they have more resolve than its fan base.

I think the team has a better grasp than most of our fans about why we're losing right now, and they understand that that situation is going to change sooner rather than later.

I agree, but I don't see much changing on the offensive side of the ball until week 11.

We could have beat the Pats with all our starters. But your right, some thing has to change for us to have any hope and it starts with Weeden.

I agree you don't trade for guys like cassell and micheal and not play them time for some off makeover coming out of the bye or season will be lost
