Still don’t understand why the didn’t put Gallup on the PUP list. I’d much rather him sit an extra 2/3 games, the risk of reinjury goes up exponentially with early return. Having Gallup for an extra game or 2 isn’t going to make or break this season

Because if placed on the PUP list it's for 4 weeks, during which time he can't practice with the team. I agree, a game or two won't make or break the season, but what if Lamb goes down in week 2 or 3? Do we really want a starting receiver corps of like Brown, Tolbert and Fehoko?

From all I've read and heard Gallup was projected to be back in week 2 or 3, and if he's able to practice in week 1 and/or 2, he'd be more ready to go.

I totally agree with not placing on the PUP list (assuming he is nearly ready to play). 4 games is basically a quarter of the season, very difficult to come back from 0-4 to start the season....

Give the ol fart a bit of a break. The clarifications have just begun....it’s an old thing. The older you get the more “clarifications” you have to come up with even for a lie.....lol

Jerry has done a lot for the NFL. I would say that he his a good owner.

As much as he wants he is just not a GM.
When there is no higher place of responsibility, one just can't hide where the buck stops! Not just for the cash flow....
