Well, is there any team you fear now that we still have to play? I have a few

1. Eagles= Even when we were winning Superbowls we always had battles with Philly. That was the last team we had to get over the hump with in the 90's. With that being said, dont count them out just yet, Reid seems to always find a way. If you need an example of that remember last year. They are number 1.

2. Packers= Seems that Favre has caught the "Lets win on for the gimper," from his teammates. The nostilga following him concerns me. He seems on top of the world now again. What concerns me even more than that is their D. If there was one team the could match-up with us it would be the Pack. Al HArris, who could arguably be the best man cover corner in the league, has battled TO in the past. Woodsen on the other end isnt too shabby either. They have AJ HAWK in the middle and Nick Barnett. Kampfman and KGB rushing the QB. Lots of talent there. Do not look past these guys.

Others to consider (PLAYOFFS NOW)

1. Seahawks= Were smoke them after what happened last year. We would be so fired up for that playoff game. Homlgrem would probably have a nervous breakdown if that happened.

2. Bucs= In Tampa Id be somewhat concerned, out of Tampa not concerned at all.

3. Giants and Commanders= Long histories, rivalries, etc

4. Bears= Wont make the playoffs

5. Lions= Wont make the playoffs

In conclusion, were looking good. But, everything could change with an injury here or there. Im a happy fan at this moment but have to remember one game at a time.

While I might always "fear" our division rivals to some extent (it always seems like regardless of the season each team is having, the games are level), the Packers don't scare me at all. I don't know what it is, but I don't give a lot of respect to the wins they've been racking up.

Given, we haven't played Super Bowl contenders in the first couple weeks of the season, but we've also been blowing the hell out of those teams. You do what good teams do and beat the teams on your schedule -- we've done that and then some. The Pack have won those same games, sure, but not nearly as convincingly.

Assuming no more major injuries, I can't see the Pack beating us, not at home. The Patriots and Colts are the only two teams in the league that I feel could legitimately outplay us more times than not. Other than that, though, I think we're the best team in the league. And damn does it feel good to say that.

And by the way... no you don't. That's one of the joys of being a fan. The players and coaches need to temper their outlook because they can't overlook crappy teams like Buffalo and lose. As fans, what's our excuse?

Look ahead, look back, look down your pants... whatever. It's all fair game when you're not suiting up on Sundays.

Any rival in our division is usually a good game. That's why I love the NFC East...

If we had to play the early to mid 90s Cowboys, I'd fear them. F the Pats, Colts, Packers, etc.

The Pats will bury us in 2 weeks. I think the Pack could beat us and the Giants are startinig to look very good.

I marvel at how some fans can think that denying points to teams w/ no offense (Bears & Dolphins) and an injury decimated offense (Rams) constitute a good Defense. And the Bears D was injury riddled when we put up 34 on them and are the Dolphins really that good on D?

If we can play w/ the Pats, I'll start to drink the koolaid, but I'm going to have to see our D shut down a real QB and our O put some points up against a good D...

I'm sure you'll be saying those same things about almost every game we win this season. Look around the league -- how many teams could you NOT say those things about? Two or three?

Wow.

Let's see if this team can win a freakin' playoff game before we say that they'd beat one of the greatest football teams in the history of the NFL.

I would say the teams in our division. There is something about our division rivals. I get more nervous about those games than any others and they are almost always extremely competitive and close games. Anything can happen in those games and we haven't exactly been the most successful against our own division over the last few years.

In the NFC, it's the Packers and our East opponents. Also fear the Pats. Actually believe we can handle the Colts.

"Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is." - German proverb

It's obvious that we have a very, very good team in comparison to the rest of the league. Let that fact counterbalance fear of the unknown.

Obviously, the Eagles were banged up, but if the Gaints can get after the QB like that or even a 3rd of that every game I wouldn't count them out. Seattle isn't spectacular, but pretty steady. Key is to get EVERYBODY at HOME if and when we make the playoffs.
