All this excitement is almost certainly for nothing. Dallas needs Philly to lose again even if we beat them next week, AND we need to win out. The chances of us winning the division are under 10%.
Just to note, if Philly loses to Seattle or Arizona and Dallas, the tie breaker flips back to the Cowboys even if they lose to Miami or Buffalo.

Its weird but if they tie at 14-3, Philly wins the tiebreaker. If they tie at 13-4, Dallas probably wins the tiebreaker as long as Dallas wins next week.

Edit add: The number would be the strength of victory. All of those blowouts for Dallas and close games for Philly comes back to mean something.

If they lost to the NYG, we'd have the divisional tiebreaker, assuming we didn't lose to Wash. And we'd have the common game tiebreaker if we lost to DET and both wind up 13-4, no?

NBC just showed the Cowboys' chance at the number one seed in the entire NFC just jumped from 14 percent to 36 percent with the Eagles loss. Still not good but quite a jump.
No. That was SF. Dallas was at 6% or so from 5%.

No way Philly will beat Seattle in Seattle if Geno plays anywhere near as good as he did against us

49ers have the ravens still to play.

So they could lose again. Philly I’m not so sure.

Still we’d need to beat Miami lions and buffalo.

Nah, Cowboys would need the Eagles to lose to the Giants in the last week.

There can’t be a three way tie because division winner has to be determined first. Three way ties can only happen within divisions, or across three different divisions. Two teams in one division and a third from another can never be competing for a tie breaker

LOL I forgot about that. You have to settle the division first. Still, the 49ers get it.

I'm ok with a #2 seed and then traveling to SF if Dallas takes care of business.
