I think we will see a great player fall to 34 and at a position of need but I fear we will reach for a 2nd tier QB.

I hope they stick to the board and get creative when it comes to back up QB.

Spence, Doctson, Billings, Ogbah, Karl Joseph, Mackenzie Alexander et al.

Someone really good will be there.

Do not waste it on a clip board holder.

I'm tired of giving away picks. Just be confident in your scouting and coaching, pick a player at #34 and the maximize the rest of your picks based on the legwork you've done prior to the draft.

Trade up for Lynch. That's it.

I might not post for 10 years if we trade up for Connor Cook. LOL.

Sticking to its board might mean drafting a second-tier QB. If Dallas legitimately has Cook rated ahead of players like Ogbah, Joseph, etc., I have no problem with the team taking him there.

If Cook is rated above Joseph etc. the board is wrong.

I have just totally lowered my expectations and I'm expecting a maaaajor reach at 34. I hope it's Hackenberg if we reach for a QB.

Dude looks good in practice, I'm sure. Put a (college) pass rush in his face and he completes 53% of his passes.

I want a playmaker at 34.

So either the guy gets us sacks, ints, and/or TDs.

Joseph is my target. After taking Zeke at 4.

i just don't know about him.

I see amazing and I see awful.

1 thing is for sure.. His team is awful.

I think Hackenberg has all the tools mentally and physically.

I question his confidence and ability to process information quickly.

He has some mechanic issues but they can all be worked out.

If I'm going to do something stupid I'm going to go for the guy that's a homerun. Not Connor Cook who at best will be a bottom half of the league starter.

I see what you're saying. If we take a shot on a QB, might as well go for the higher ceiling.

I personally think Hack has a fundamental flaw and has proven that over the years. To me, he won't succeed at any point because of that flaw. He can't handle pressure. A football player, or any athlete at all, who can't handle pressure is useless to me

You're right. I hated Sam Bradford coming out of College because of that. 99% of the time everything was perfect for him and he looked great. Whenever he was pressured he was awful.

Thing about Hackenberg though, and I haven't studied him enough to know for sure, but His OL was bad 99% of the time and we don't even know how open his receivers were on top of that.

He played on a team that received the death penalty.

True. I'd hate to burn a high pick though.
