I don't believe the hype. They rely on the run to win. They didn't today but I don't buy the hype. Even their defense. They're a pretty solid on defense. Top 5 defense. But nothing dominant. Even they acknowledge they haven't been as good as they can be. There's no dominant team in this league right IMO. That's why I like the Cowboys chances. Cowboys potentially can be dominant. Especially on offense.

well while you aren't believing the hype, they are simply beating every team on their schedule. there really isn't even any hype, either. this is without a doubt the least publicized and talked about 9-0 team in NFL history. There are teams under .500 getting more national media coverage.

I disagree. Every sports show highlights them and how good they are. They aren't media favorites because they don't have a guy that's attractive to the media. But there's hype. They're not impressive at all. Its just my opinion. I'm probably wrong but i've seen 5 of their games this season and this is the 2nd consecutive week they should've lost. Packers should've beaten them last week. With more effective quarterback play the Titans would've been mollywhopped.

shoulda, coulda, woulda.....so if they win games they shoulda lost, that makes them good.

I too have seen several of their games. They play ugly football. They have a great ability to make their opponents play ugly football as well. They definitely know how to take control and maintain the tempo of games.

Their WRs flat out suck. They drop way too many passes. If those clowns had anything resembling decent hands, the Titans offense would be very potent.

You do realize that the Giants didn't exactly light it up last year. They were just efficient on offense and didn't turn it over, while their defense and STs controlled the tempo of the games. The Titans have been playing like that all year long.

Plus, because they play so many tight games, they have confidence that they can win going down the stretch. It is important to have this kind of confidence, especially in the post season.

Pretty simple stuff.

The Titans are a very physical club. They don't turn the ball over. And they don't beat themselves.

Tennessee also tackles very well. Force turnovers. Don't give 'em up.

All that should go towards coaching. They're seem prepared every single week.

All that said, going into last week, Tennessee hadn't seen an opponent with a winning record. To their credit, they've won the last two as well.

In the NFL, 9-0 is 9-0. Kudos to them.

They should've lost to the Ravens, but that's the besides the point. They're a team that just physically beats you up as the game goes on and slowly seperates themselves from the competition.

Anyone who knows anything about football knows it starts at the line on both sides of the football and they have one of the best O-Line and D-Lines in the game. They're receiving core is a joke and I dont care how good he played today, Collins is going to end up costing em a game. That being said, they're the best team in football along with the Giants.

They're not flashy, but don't fool yourself, they are a very good club.

They dominate the line on both sides of the ball, and though their passing game may not win them games, they run the ball well and play great D.

You do those two things, you're going to be in every game.

And they got the run shut down today and still pulled out the W. Against a Chicago team with Grossman in, I realize, but still.

That said, I don't think that they'll go all the way. Someone will outscore them, but it will probably be the NFC rep in the Super Bowl. The AFC isn't impressing me this year.

Are they that good? I dunno, but they are playing that well, and that's really all that matters.

they are not that good individually...but they are very good as a team. they play together as 11 on the field, especially on defense and ST. Their WRs suck. Their TEs are good, not great. Their RBs are above avg. Their QB is a savvy vet. They have a kicker who can boom it from 60 and is very accurate from inside 50. They have a very good punter. They are extremely well coached and prepared. They do not kill themselves with mistakes like turnovers and penalties....but they will force you into mistakes. They do a great job of playing the field position battle. If vanilla is your flavor of choice, I give you the Tennessee offense. They wear you down with their style of play. If you shut down the pass, they run all over you. If you shut down the run, the pass all over you. Their defense gives you very little.

Honestly, this team is LSU or Alabama under Saban....low on flash and sportscenter highlights, but high on substance and efficiency.

You also forgot they slobberknock teams into the ground they are physically bringing it on every play. They just grind team up and play hard until the whistle blows

They have very good offensive and defensive lines. They also have a really good running game.

They are a team with an identity.

They are as good as their record says they are.

They're really that committed. They dumped Adam Jones. They don't have Jerry.

Having said this, I don't see anyone in the AFC who they should fear.

I think the Steelers can beat the Titans. We will see in a few weeks though.

Defense wins championships. Not that their going to win a championship, because the AFC is watered down. The Steelers are better than the Titans. The Titans defense is a bit better than the Steelers, but the Steelers have a better offense.

Of course the Steelers aren't going to win anything because their offensive line is questionable and they have a QB that completely depends on the running game or he is useless.
