I actually was a junior tennis player, but I burned out on it and pretty much never watch tennis anymore. But I do wish I'd seen the Federer-Djokovic match on Saturday. Anyone see it and have a comment? I don't guess there's anywhere to watch a replay of it, is there?

Years ago the French was almost unwatchable, but the rackets have gotten so powerful that now it's pretty good stuff.

The streaming site I posted had a VOD icon that contained Video On Demand matches, but it appears they stopped making them available at the quarterfinals or so...

youtube has some stuff, not sure if the entire match is there though.

I watched the entire match, and it was just incredible. Federer I think got to him psychologically before the match by stressing how much all the pressure was on Novak. It was a very athletic, very physical match with many incredible shots, tremendous ball movement, etc. What a joy it was to watch! I thought it was better than Federer - Nadal in the final, but only just so. It is really going to be wonderful to watch all three of them in Wimbledon here in a few weeks.

Thanks, man. I just checked out the Tennis Channel schedule hoping to see it there, but they're only showing the final. :(

I very rarely watch tennis anymore, but from what very little I've seen of him, I do think I like Djokovic's game. I need to make more of an effort to watch him play some more.

Heck, I wouldn't mind watching that match again myself :)

I posted the question over on BSPN's very heavily-trafficked tennis message boards and someone replied that it's (Djokovich - Federer) probably not available anywhere online in VOD, that I'd probably have to buy a DVD of it...

well duh. It dawned on me that of COURSE no VOD's after the quarterfinals are over at The Tennis Channel because every match after that was on NBC!

So I checked over at NBC Sports, and all I could find of Federer vs. Djokovich was a highlights thingy. How horrible for tennis that full matches are not made available for us, seems like. Heck, I would still LOVE to see Roddick vs. Federer from Wimbledon about two years ago...the record-setting match.

Anyway, I think this link might get you close to the highlights VOD from NBC.

ESPN3.com had almost all of the matches on there. Not sure if the still do, but I'd check that out.

It was a great match.

Edit:
Just checked ESPN3... it's not on there.
