Terence Newman should return every punt

:lmao2: :laugh1: I just got a visual, that would be a nerdy look. (carrying around a loaf of bread)

I say you use your best players to win ballgames for you anyway and anywhere you can. Someone could have said "We can't use Deion to return kicks it's to risky" ... and they would have missed out on alot of game changing TDs too.

I also think using Newman in this way could be advantageous to his corner play indirectly as well. You have to be a little cocky to play the corner position and giving him a chance to strut his talents in the return game may actually help him to get his juices flowing for when he's on the field defensively.

ABC

anyone but crayton

I think Newman and Rector should share the responsibility from here on out

I like the way newman goes north, unlike crayton who does to much dancing.
He was on the verge of breaking a couple last night.

you nailed it bro.

The greatness of Tom Landry used to get on Dorsett all the time.

"North / South"

basically what is the quickest way from Point A to Point B. Take it and if anyone is in the way, knock their lights out

maybe im missing something b/c I dont recall hearing to many Kick returners or punt returners getting injured. High school and colleges use their best athletes without having to many injuries.

In fact I dont remember ever seeing a game (high school, college, or pro) where a kick returner was seriously injured

Exactly! Everyone is afraid of nothing. Deion played for 5 teams in his career.

ATL,SF,DAL,WAS,BAL

He returned punts for ALL of them! What are we afraid of!

I like the Crayton and Newman combo. They need Crayton's sure hands when they're receiving kicks deep in their territory (Newman almost muffed one). Let Newman return kicks in short kicking situations.

TNew has been my favorite since his high school days in Salina, just up the road from my place. He was great at returning punts at K-State. I love to see him return punts for us but am worried he will get hurt.
