With Newman working against him in practice every day.
Does he up his level also to be the best shutdown corner?
I know this is a lot of IF's.....

TO gives 100% in practices. He never takes a snap off in practice or in game. I have no idea what you're laughing at.

That's "Terence" Newman to you! And yes, he gets better as does the whole secondary, and offense, and coaching staff, and overall record, and playoff chances, and Superbowl chances, and...

i remember hearing last TC (from spags, I think) that when asked who was the toughest receiver in the league to cover, Newman's answer was Terry Glenn. when asked again, with the emphasis on the whole league, TNew repeated his initial response.

TNew is already pretty good. if he can get us a couple of more picks, it would be icing on the cake.
