I'm very worried about that defense... I realize it was the first preseason game however it wasn't a good sign.

I watched the Saints Rams game and the Rams have a pretty good DL but the Saints offense pretty much looked like the Chargers did against us. The difference being we had maybe one starter playing and it looked like the Rams had their ones in there.

It's a product of not having as much tackling in Minicamp's and Training Camp.

The days of JWit putting up big numbers is likely over. Far to much competition for the ball with Escobar and Hanna and the WR's.

I'll believe it when I see it. We are one WR injury away from Romo forcing it to his blankey like the past. Witten can not even be in the top 2 for receptions for this offense to reach its max potential. His value is in the red zone and 3rd downs PERIOD! Him catching 65+ balls is wasting the other play makers abilities and once again showing an unimaginative offense.

I too do not wanting Witten near 1000 yards. If he gets to 1000, that means the ball was in the air 990 yards. If Dez got 990 yards of air under his receptions , he'd go for 1400 yards. I want the ball in the hands of athletic guys who have a LEAST one move in their arsenal.
