So 4 games into his rookie season it's his time to shine.

What happens if he doesn't? Does he suck?

Ya'll take stuff and run with it. Who in the hell said he would suck? Some people on here are re-damn-diculous. What? I can't say it's a players time to shine now? Get a damn grip.

Why would I expect a rookie WR to "break out" after only 3 games under his belt?

You guys slay me sometimes ...

Listen, man, I'm not expecting a 250yd game from the guy. I want to see him show us the potential of what's to come. Ya'll need to relax on these forum's with all that yappin'. A "break out game" doesn't just mean in one aspect, DAMN!

I don't think it has anything to do with being depressed or negative. It's more understanding the game and how hard it is for a WR to transition to the NFL.

It's not Terrance Williams time to shine just because I'm a Cowboys fan and a starter went down. It's actually his time to learn and develop. If he does more than that, great.

Honestly he hasn't shown men anything to make me believe he'll be a real factor tomorrow. I think Beasley and Harris will contribute more. I just don't trust Williams at this time.

I think that he will show that he has developed into a player who can inspire indignant posts.

I'm appropriately keeping my expectations for Williams low. Let's bear in mind he's just a mere rookie still trying to acclimate to the pro game and its complexities. I think the staff will keep his workload light until his grasp of the offensive system is firmer and his route tree is closer to complete. Trying to lean on him too soon would be tantamount to asking for trouble. We have plenty of other targets with enough experience to carry the load.

Make us forget about Miles and his damn hammy this weekend, buddy. I have a feeling Williams goes off. We usually find our replacements in this fashion. It's his time to shine & prove the poster who called him "trash" after his first career game wrong!

That right there is the only reason I believe it.....

Murray, Austin, Romo, Church, Hatcher, LR ect....we have a good track record of giving guys a chance when someone goes down, or just a chance period..and they blossom

They all are or were some type of huge contributor to this team

Be the Austin in the KC breakout game...Or at least 50% of it..lol

You would figure Harris would be the player to breakout this being his 3rd season. His situation is a lot more similar to Austin's situation back in 09 than Williams who's a rookie and is still learning. Austin was the only big play option vs KC back in 09 with RW being out. All the Cowboys had opposite Austin that day was Kevin Ogletree which got Romo targeting Austin all day. With a threat like Dez Bryant on the field not very unlikely Williams or Harris will have a huge game unless Dez receives double coverage all day giving Harris and Williams opportunities.

I hope DEZ has a huge day, if DEZ got 200 yards and we won the game, I would be very happy.

Someone should hire a team of psychiatrists from vienna to try and understand peoples obsessiveness with rookies and backups

I think the probability of an int went up with Williams getting more PT.
Having said that, I hope the kid scores 2-3 TDs.
Go Cowboys

It's due to some not being happy with a few current starters. Many are frustrated with Austin's repeated hamstring injuries and would love either Harris or Williams to step up and take his spot. Fans are always looking for the next big star to give their franchise a lift and players who've had limited opportunities especially rookies provide that hope.

He was a good pick. We have a very quick receiver who I think is a bit timid at the NFL level, but once he starts thinking that he'll be the one delivering the hit then he'll get better. Think Emmitt or TO or Miles Austin even...

So you just compared him to Emmitt Smith?

I really hope Williams shows a lot this year and that he can be a solid number 2. Im going to be worried about cutting or trading austin after this year if he doesnt show us something really good.
