Terrance Williams - Options

It continually amazes me when people say how awful he is then suggest trading him, as though other NFL teams want awful receivers.
He's not awful. But no team wanted him a couple years ago.

We could possibly get a 5th for him. Or we just leave him on NFI all year and don't pay him. He wouldn't be taking up a roster spot then.

Id prefer to move on from him.

To your credit you didn't call him awful, but is an injured T Will really trade bait?

There will be a few WR needy teams that TWill may help fill a void, a trade is possible, you never know. After all, the Rams found someone to trade for Tavon Austin and their stats are fairly comparable.

TWill had no one offering him a bag of Lays chips this past FA period except us, so there goes that theory.

This article was from over a month ago when Dez was still here!

Sounds to me like he is going to be out for the 2018 season otherwise they would have been more transparent with the injury.

He has improved and is a solid 3 or mediocre 2...unfprtunalty I think he is going on nfi and then released next year when we see a lot of progress from all the young guys

I consider Williams just like Chaz Green. Two players who are no longer considered as factors for this team going forward. Barring injury, I think we're unlikely to see or hear much from either guy until their time in Dallas is up.

That's what I'm thinking. I think they are pissed that he got hurt. A) Because they can't trade him now and B) If they didn't want to keep him, now he may not be fully ready to go to start the year.

If he hurt himself doing something stupid, I would Stash him on NFI and not pay him a penny. That would free up some cap and also free up a roster spot.

Then try and trade him before the trade deadline.

Hopefully with Dez getting the boot it will be a wakeup call for TWill.

That's also why you can't keep slackers with attitude problems like Dez on the team especially when their production has also fallen off.....it sends the wrong message to the younger players that you don't have to give a 100% here.........cutting Dez is still the best move of the off season.

Exactly where is this coming from Stephen has said they don't expect it to effect next season with him missing a couple of early otas at most. As of now he's by far the best receiver on the team averaging 45 to 50 receptions yearly as the 3rd or 4th option previously and is the only outside wr who' has experience in the offense!

get rid of him!! It was time for him to go last year!
