I hope so. IMO Crawford would be most effective inside from the 3-tech. He has very good quickness inside... not so much at DE, even on the strongside.

Run downs, play him at end and move him inside in passing situations (in rotation with Melton) is what I'd try to do.

We could literally see him line up anywhere but your plan sounds like the most logical approach.

I'd probably tap the breaks a little bit on Ro McClain. It could well be checking out his progress today and get a practice under the belt for next week.
