I forgot who said it, but someone made it a point to say that McClain wasn't as good as Hayden. I tried to correct the record and explain the first two years McClain was here, he simply wasn't healthy. When we've seen him he has played pretty well. Reminds me a lot of Tank Johnson. He was a force out there by himself against the Giants and he is certainly better than Hayden. I hope he can stay healthy, with the return of our edge rushers, this defensive line might be able to get the job done.

I have to say I'm still disappointed in Tyrone Crawford though. He has not been worth the money we invested into him. I remember Romo saying that he was going to break out last year, well I'm still waiting.

I wonder how long it will take Gregory and to a lesser extent Lawrence to get their sea legs. But if they can return and get into shape sooner rather than later, and we can get Romo back sooner rather than later, I think this team will do just fine.

We could use hayden to hold the line because only mclain was doing that right

Tyrone Crawford seems to have caught whatever injury bug McClain finally got rid of.

Major upgrade so far..
Really saw that as the Giants were running it up the gut to close the game out.

And please before you suggest it is defending Hayden, it is not.

McClain made one more splash play than Hayden did in what, three years?

McClain made some nice splashes, but our defense was gouged up the middle with him and without him. The interior as a whole has to be better than that. We let a suspect offensive line push us around.

When he was on the field he was making stops behind the line of scrimmage, I believe he had 4 tackles in that game.

Thornton was on the field when we were getting gashed..

We need a big ole boy to stop the run, I'm tired of Marinelli thinking that you can stop the run with skinny boys.

He had a good game IMO. On that last drive I didn't agree with having LBs 5-7 yards off the LOS and not inserting a SS into the box until the last three plays on defense. Why not start the defense that way on that drive? More and likely they don't run for that much yardage and eat all that clock.
