Boy oh boy... BSPN never seems to lack the ability to take words from TO and lace them with fire. They totally took what TO said earlier this week out of context. Any journalist can take a snip here and a snip there to splice together and make gremlins believable... They ran that "TO shuns Parcells" story round the clock on Tuesday. Then TO gets on a radio show to call them out on their bush league journalism and they barely give it a story.

Taken out of context by BSPN on Tuesday:

"When I talked to [Parcells] for the first time we left an impression on each other. I still think he is a great guy. But he is like my grandmother. You love the person, but they are stuck in their old-school ways. You can't move them from their way of thought,"

Setting the record straight today:

it wasnt a shot at parcells. everybody knows i love my grandmother, and it was taken out of context. bill made a decision to retire and u have to respect that. not a shot at parcells.

I listened to the reply of the interview. During the interview he also gave Bill props by saying he is a hall of fame coach and should be honored as such. People always like to spin the negative wheel but can never see any positives. They become blind when something positive comes out.

I agree with you. The media does try really hard to make T.O. look bad. Granted, sometimes he makes it easy for them to do so, but they do target him...A LOT.

I hope you're right about him next season - I really do.

I had a good laugh today here in Houston while their local idiots trashed TO for his "bashing" of Parcells.

I found it funny because TO's statements were actually true, and he it sounded similar to Chad Johnson's comments earlier this season, but his did not get a "shut up and catch the ball when thrown to you" comment.

And I loved how they then said TO was recovering from hand surgery, but that his hand had nothing to do with his drops.
