Laufenberg put it best back in 08.

Owens is the guy you invite to your house. Then he sets it on fire, calls the fire department and exclaims thank god you guys are here.

:laugh2: Pretty much.

Palmer is ok with him right now. We'll see what happens after MeO throws him under the bus.

History would indicate that he would too, wouldn't it? But he's on a 1 year contract and history has shown twice before that he won't because of that.

T.O won't throw Palmer under the bus this year no matter what happens there. T.O might actually call him a better QB than McNabb and Romo.

If he gets an extension? Now there's a different story. Now this is an incentive laden contract predicated on statistical performance. That may be the thing that sets him off.

But T.J Who's your mama? had no problem hitting a lot of the measurables on that team that T.O would be looking to hit.

I think he chills for 1 year. He's sulking because he sees his last chance to win a Superbowl moving on without him. No contender will ever scoop him up again and he knows that. That's why he doesn't let us go.

He'll be lucky to retire as a 49er when he's done. Doubt they will even let that happen. That's this guys reality. Scary and it's finally clicking with him!

Since when does Jerry not hold the ultimate decision?

Everyone knows he does but I believe his point is that Jerry let others pretty much talk him into making this decision.

Owens truly believes that if it were just Jerry making the choice, without listening to anyone else out there, he'd still be a Dallas Cowboy.
