Flav called Owens “one of my most favorite players in history.”
“One thing special I want to say to Terrell is, ’Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my show and consider this episode one extra touchdown under your belt,’” he said in a statement.
Owens, a six-time Pro Bowl player, owns the Cowboys’ single-season record for receiving touchdowns and has the third-most TD catches in NFL history.
His off-field credits include episodes of Punk’d and The Tracy Morgan Show, and the 1999 football movie Any Given Sunday.
