UDFA ?

Watson completed the 40-yard dash in 4.49 to 4.51 seconds, posted 23 repetitions of 225 pounds in the bench press and had a 35” vertical jump and 10’3” broad jump—all impressive numbers for a 6’1”, 242-pound back

Over the course of his four-year career for the Cougars, Watson rushed for 5,756 yards and 78 touchdowns, including 2,153 yards and 29 touchdowns in his senior season alone

I like this guy 7th round or UDFA. Would love to see a RB crew of AP, McFadden and TW.

There was a big OT in the draft from that school a couple of years ago.

It's difficult to get much feel from that video. Many of those opposing defensive players wouldn't start on most Texas High School teams.

Definitely impressive measurable(s). A 4.49 forty at 242 pounds is in the freak athlete range.

He doesn't play up to that speed though... or at least I don't see it on that highlight reel. He just doesn't look nimble for a guy that size, like say, Jerome Bettis did.

Still might be a good guy to pick up as an UDFA and take a look at though.

Agree.

NFL teams will want him to lose some weight.

Yeah, seems slow to accelerate but maybe a good FB candidate.

Like the posters above said, his 4.49 40 speed doesn't seem to translate to the field.

He seems to lumber along.

He is my dirty yard guy.
Pair him up with Duke Johnson and you got the new lightning and thunder.

I don't think Azusa Pacific has much of a training program. Give him a trainer for a year and watch him pack more muscle and more explosiveness. He'll lumber alright....right over the defenders.
