Roy L. Williams is out for the year with the same injury that kept him out the last 4 games. These doctors and trainers are having a bad year. Every time someone gets hurt they clear them to come back and play and the guy re-injures the same thing. Posters on this board said that an injury like Roy's would take longer than 4 weeks to heal and it looks like they were correct. Maybe the medical staff needs to read this board.

He broke the same arm that was already broken.....

Yeah we could of waited another couple of weeks to see him give up a deep pass and miss a bunch of shoulder tackles.

at least he was able to use that arm to point the finger at someone else on the deep TD pass.

I'm no doctor and i don't know much about medicine but i have fractured my arm a few times and it took about 7 weeks to heal

Who else has this happened to?

TNew tried to rest his injury to avoid surgery but ultimately had to have it. So he doesn't qualify.

Newman was hurt in the offseason and re hurt himself when he went out and played. Spencer is hurt again. Koiser also came back and got hurt again.

Kosier. I hope they don't rush Romo.

Our medical staff was darned good last year. Or was that all luck?

We didn't have the injuries then players coming back just to get re-injured.

Newman does qualify. It is the medical staff's decision that rest would take care of it. They could have been more pro-active in their approach. They could have gone in and had the surgery when it occurred. It was not in the off season, but early in training camp. Newman may very well be back by now had they done that.

Their current track record sucks.

The initial word on the radio yesterday after the game was that it was broken in a different spot.

That seems hard to believe.

But do those injuries fall into the "Every time someone gets hurt they clear them to come back and play and the guy re-injures the same thing" as the OP suggested?
