Saw where Miami released him yesterday. He had a good camp last year and was signed by New Orleans then ended up with Miami. Is he worth bringing in for another look see?

The Saints signed Tearrius George off of our practice squad last season, so we evidently saw something worth developing.

But we didn't have Victor Butler and Steve Octavien last year, either.

Might be an upgrade over Jacob Rodgers though...and Williams is out for the year now.

Wouldn't hurt to bring him in since we've got the roster space and are down one linebacker (two if you count Justin Rogers fighting through an injury). Decent insurance against more injuries, and we can always cut him if the position makes it through the rest of the preseason healthy.

I'd rather wait for Baltimore to cut some of their talented LBs, or see if Travis LaBoy is healthy.

Either option would be better than signing a practice squadder.
