I was born in Texas (thank God), but I grew up in Bossier City/Shreveport...

Back in the late 60's, Pete Rozelle had the genius to have preseason games played in smaller markets to garner interest in the league... at that time, Al Gore had not yet invented the internet...

With Bradshaw, being a local guy, they had the Steelers play... against the Cowboys...

The area, til this day, likes the Saints alot, but roots for Dallas...

I think having the Saints play Dallas is a two-fold thing. One, to support the Saints after the hurricane and; two, to give the fans what they want; Dallas Cowboys football...
