Bradshaw and Jerry are good friends. He's probably getting his info from Jerry.

lol how does that even make sense? so basically there’s evidence of him commiting DV ... but not enough to say he’s guilty?
It's just semantics. Lack of evidence of guilt isn't the same as proof of innocence.

In most situations, proving innocence requires proving a negative, which isn't always realistic or possible. All that can be done is to determine if the evidence of guilt is sufficient to find someone guilty. If the evidence is insufficient, it doesn't mean innocence has been proven, it just means there's not strong enough evidence of guilt. So you're not considered guilty. It takes pretty special circumstances to go past that and actually prove innocence.

I agree steamed soup.

The only way to prove somebody’s innocence would be if there was a camera on the person 24/7.

Or if the perpetrator left DNA behind and you can test that.

In cases like Zeke’s it is impossible to “prove” innocence.

That’s why the burden of proof always falls on the state/accuser in our justice system.

its a sad statement on our legal system (I refuse to call it a justice system) that a single person like a judge can let his or her personal feelings cause so much trouble.
The facts in this case are clear and frankly no judge should have supported the NFL

No judge has supported the NFL, except in the very limited technical sense regarding standing and jurisdiction.

Every time we think Zeke is in the clear, we get news that he's not. I fully expect him to be suspended, because he's a Cowboy.

This statement, IMO, is inaccurate. The Judge did not support the NFL. The Judge upheld the contract terms. This is the problem, to me.

It has nothing to do with him being a Cowboy. He could've been a golden boy QB from a northeastern team who isn't even accused of anything particularly heinous (like Brady), and he'd still find the court system hostile to his fight for fairness. It's not about the team he plays for, not at all.

I'm done trying to figure out what'll happen with Zeke's suspension.
That whole fiasco is like a comedy act that bombed terribly.

I'm stumped to concieve how anyone should even take it seriously.

The fact that the NFL would even pursue it at his point is ludicrous.

I'm not sure an alcoholic with a history of bankruptcy is a good pick to run anything, but I suppose it would be interesting.

there is a burden of proof because you are presumed innocent until proven guilty; unlike the nfl....

Not the first time Terry Bradshaw was wrong about something he heard in the NFL grapevine.
