When Terry was brought in as a free agent, he came in and played his butt off for the Cowboys. He will go down as arguably one of the better FA's ever to wear the star.

But wear and tear, and now age along with his latest knee injury has gotten me to thinking that this was Terry's last year with the Cowboys, and most likely, last year as an NFL player.

It's time the Cowboys got another big time WR that is young, and eats and sleeps football.

Now, where do we find this guy? Draft? Manningham? Free agent? R. Williams or a Fitzgerald? Time to get another "WOW" player at WR. It's a copy cat league. And no need to look any further than what the Patriots did at WR when picking up Moss, Stallworth, and Welker.

Romo needs more weapons too!

Sadly you maybe right.

Glenn was an excellent pickup for us. I will miss him if he doesn't return.

Why do you think this is Terry's last year?

He played two games, and IMO showed that he's still got it. He was consistently getting better seperation than any of our other receivers.

Unless he can't take the pain in his knees, I don't see why we wouldn't love to have him back.

That's all I'd give them considering his been a bit injury prone. But you cannot deny his talent.

I agree with need to get younger and faster at Wide Receiver.

However, Terry Glenn can still play in this league.

Both he and Marvin Harrison proved that no matter how many years you have played in the NFL, if you miss significant time, you are not going to be able to just "turn it on" when you are healthy, especially in the Playoffs.

It really made me nervous when they threw that Comeback to Terry Glenn, it was almost picked off because he fell down and then Troy Aikman stated that Tony Romo was nervous about throwing that type of pass to Terry Glenn because he has had trouble planting.

Probably a bad idea to try to complete it in a Playoff game I would think  .

You can add Roy, Crayton, Reeves and Adams to that list too.

The IQ of this team would increase exponentially if we got rid of these 4.

From what I've read about Glenn's knee injuries, the problem is the uncertainty.

His knees may be fine for 3 games, or 5 games, or maybe longer. No one knows. It's a really dicey situation. But from what I understand, his knees are likely not to hold up over the "longer" term.

As much as I like Glenn and his contributions on the team, I think we need to get someone with more longivity.

I'd look to FA for sure, and I would also consider using a Day 1 pick to develop a potential number 1 wideout. It usually takes these guys 2-3 years to develop.

In this case, Glenn may just no longer be able to complete a full season with his knee. It's not like he was mentally breaking down like so many were yesterday.
