Terry Glenn's status?

As of right now, is it not like the first game of the season for Terry Glenn? Is he not 100%?

If he's 100% (or even close), I think he's going to surprise a lot of people. People seem to be discounting him as a non-factor. I just can't see that as the case if he's near 100%.

For one, no one has seen how Garrett would use Glenn. He's essentially an x-factor coming into this game, and a very big one if he's healthy. Second, he's a very, very good receiver, regardless of if people know how he's going to be used or not. I can't wait to see how he does Sunday.

A healthy TG is going to shred the zone defenses teams have been successful with. IT is going to give them fits trying to cover TG, TO, Crayton in the slot and Witten. There is just no way to cover that.

I believe Terry's current status is badass, with a 50% chance of busting the Giants faces in. Stay tuned to TG-Doppler 8 for more information.

If T.O. and Terry Glenn are back and healthy, coupled with Crayton and Witten as additional targets for a rejuvenated and Ron Mexico-ed Tony Romo, along with Marion "The Barbarian" Barber getting the starting nod and 20+ carries on Sunday, I conservatively estimate that the final score will read:

Giants - 6
Cowboys - 8,323

Highs for Sunday will be Cowboys 45-3; the Lows Cowboys 24-14.

How can you say that? We are facing the Great Eli Manning. Haven't you heard, he has finally arrived. His last game he threw for 185 yards and had no picks. He is supplanting his brother as the marquee QB in the NFL with that remarkable performance over................who did they beat?

Nevermind 100% but how can anyone rationally even factor Glenn into the final analysis when he hasn't even been able to make a catch in a game this season?...He only just started running routes and somehow there's talk about how close he may be to 100%??...Come on, don't sniff the glue.

This talk about Glenn is nonsensical...He is such a nonfactor at this point, the odds are better that Michael Irvin will suit up and be a factor in this game.

He may end up being a factor but at best he's going to give us what Crayton could when he actually shows up...He's more likely to serve as decoy then anything else.

I would prefer TO in the slot to get man coverage on the SS or nickel back.

With a veteran receiver, if "only just starting to run routes" is 3 weeks of running routes, I'll take it.

Where is it stated he won't be even close to 100% for Sunday's game? I have no reason to believe he won't be, otherwise.

Excellent, excellent points. Eli has had ten games with a QB rating over 70 this year (including the playoffs), he has thrown for over 300 yards passing as many as TWO TIMES, tossed only 20 INTs compared to 23 TDs (including 3 TDs and only 5 INTs in his two games against us this year!!), has a lower YPA this year than Jason Campbell, and only threw incompletions 44% of the time!

We are in BIG TROUBLE! Eli is Unstoppable.

TG and TO can barely walk.

We are only hoping they come out and catch some slants for 6 yards on Sunday.

Seriously, you try and play seconday coach for the Giants and figure how many guys you need to cover TO, Witten, TG, Crayton, and sometimes Hurd/Austin - plus the barbarian in the flat.

Wow.

Do you people fabricate this stuff in your own minds, and then convince yourself it's the unquestionable truth? I could understand if there was at least maybe one report saying Glenn and Owens can barely walk, but come on...

I've not heard one report of Terry Glenn "barely being able to walk." In fact, I've heard he's cutting and running hard in practice. Quite the opposite.

And everything I've heard about TO is that he is progressing at a very impressive rate.

Makes me want to buy a watch.

185 yards! Did you see the TD to Jacobs? No other QB in the league would have tried to make that play. ONly the greats would fire a BB into the RB's gut with a LB hanging all over him. It surprised Brooks so much he forgot to tackle Jacobs for the loss.

Eli proved himself! He went out and didn't force any mistakes. He has finally arrived!

Both Glenn and T.O. will come out of the tunnel in their Rascals and then magically be healed once they touch the field on their first play.
