At Spotrac it's two years, for about 2.7mil a year. First year guaranteed. That blows.

I think this is just another missed opportunity. I am truly not upset about missing out on Earl Thomas or any other big name guy. I just don't think the Cowboys FO has the same urgency as say the Eagles, Rams, Patriots, Chiefs, Browns, Seattle, etc,etc. Tevin Coleman would have been the perfect complement to Zeke. Two years 10 million is peanuts. He would really help Dak, Zeke and the whole offense.
To me it shows the FO just is not looking to improve the team. They have become gun shy, or they really don't care about winning.

I see your point about Zeke getting carries, but to me it is kind of irrelevant. The coaching staff and scheme really determine game plan and game flow. The Falcons were successful with a two back system. We all want Zeke to get less carries and remain fresh throughout the year.
The 5 million is nothing. I would take Coleman's potential to catch 40 plus passes in our system and just add another weapon to the offense.

You are right. We are an offense stuck in the early 90's trying to recreate the triplets, but the rest of the NFL has moved on. Culture, culture, culture.
We have a losing mind set, I'm happy I saw 3 SB's in high school, college. Youtube is where I watch the best Cowboys games.
