Texans Cut 3 Players for Violation of Team Rules

Not sure what they did but had to have been pretty bad if they just got cut on the spot. The 3 players released were:

-DE Sam Montgomery
-LB Willie Jefferson
-RB Cierre Wood

Montgomery was their 3rd round pick this year. Wood was an undrafted FA out of Notre Dame, and Jefferson was an undrafted FA and a teammate of Montgomery's at LSU.

Cierre Wood looked pretty decent in preseason, IIRC.

Montgomery might be an interesting guy to kick the tires on.

Considering how extraordinary it is for a team to do something like this, I think you have your answer as to whether the claim is true.

I'm suprised they were burning weed inside anywhere near the Texans facility...I love it too but damn....pretty bold to walk into team meetings reakn of erb (high school flashback).
