The natives, meanwhile, are restless. One disgruntled Texans fan has started a ******** page with the goal of raising enough cash to buy out Osweiler's $72 million deal. (The contract only actually includes $37 million guaranteed, but you know, symbolism.)
"I am a die hard Texans fan and we need to get rid of Brock Osweiler or we're not going anywhere. He is a waste of 72 million and for a dollar a day we can get him out and make DeAndre Hopkins happy."

Under the "Recent Donations" column, there's a $5 pledge from a man who goes by the name Rick Smith. His comment reads, "This guy's going to get us all canned!" Now, I know this isn't the real Texans general manager. But you think that very thought didn't go through the real Rick Smith's mind a few times on Monday night?

All of the money is guaranteed this season and next season. What I think they should do is draft Patrick Mahomes and start him next season (I believe he could be somewhat like Dak with a better deep ball) let Brock sit next season and rot and then get rid of him after next season. But they're not a good organization they will probably draft an o-lineman or another recevier to "help" Brock which won't help.

They are a good enough organization but need a couple of things:

1. JJ Watt raising hell as usual.

2. Better OL.

They aren't, they repeated their mistake when they gave Matt Schaub a ton of money after barely playing and gave Brock a ton of money after barely playing. They let go of Kubiak and Phillips who went to Denver and won a Super Bowl. They also turned down Peyton Manning who wanted to go there instead of Denver. So you could have had Kubiak, Phillips, Peyton and Watt instead of Miller, sounds like a recipe for a Super Bowl.

When John elway says no thanks........

Elway still offered him 16 million per year for 3 seasons. Im not saying Elway isn't a great GM but people act like Elway didn't offer him a contract at all he still offered a contract that would be terrible. Texans just offered an even worse contract.

I'm surprised Osweiler is playing so poorly. He played well in Denver. Is he being adequately protected? Do the Texans have a running game?

Yes they do that's all they have because they don't have a Quarterback. Lamar Miller has rushed for 581 yards which is 5th in the NFL. They also have some great receivers Hopkins a top 5 to 10 receiver and Fuller a rookie who has lightning speed. Brock has no excuses.

Brock is too tall (no QB 6'8 has ever really been a success in the NFL) and slow and isn't even a great pocket passer. But one thing he does have is money Texans set him up for life, you probably won't hear much from him after next season but he's already set.

Good to know. Makes me appreciate the position the Cowboys are in now. Maybe the Texans will get so desperate they'll give us JJ Watt for Sanchez. j/k
