I'm telling ya. Every dang drop of rain he has, from the coast all the way into Oklahoma and then some.

Once it hits land it needs to stall in the middle of Texas and stay a while. Selfishly, I hope it is the blue line in the second pick.

**** the rain, I'll just take like 10 degrees cooler. That won't happen though.

Same here. Even the purple path would be okay.

I keep thinking that this historically awful period is surely going to be interrupted by something like this. And most predictions I've seen have called for an above average tropical system year.

No kidding. If they were a home owner they'd know how much our trees need a good soaking rain. I'd like to not have to put 1" - 1 1/2"s of water in my pool every week as well.

hard to believe someone would say that during one of the worst droughts in Texas' history.

Or a farmer watching his crops wither and die, or a rancher having to sell off his herd because of a lack of water this summer or not having enough hay to feed them in the winter. Prices on meat and vegetables will be through the roof.

Come up through middle Texas, on to the panhandle, then east towards TN :D
With the high pressure in place over Texas probably what will happen is that all the moisture from Don will be carried clockwise around it and significant rains will come to LA TN AL AR GA MS and other Eastern States. So keep your eyes on the northwest next week. :D

True, it's easy to forget that some people have it way worse than you do.
