For a bargain, I'd be very interested in this as a No. 2 to Dez.

They are just too similar and he has lost a step. But an aging vet like S.Moss a couple of seasons ago would have been an ideal fit to add some speed to the O.

He's still huge and knows how to play. And he'd LOVE to have a quarterback like Romo for once in his career.

I hear you that he's not some washed up bum or anything on that level and could contribute on a playoff caliber team like ours. To your credit, this O is kind of schemed around slower players (Witt, Beas, Dez to an extent) in relation to lacking deep speed. He would be a luxury in a crowded receiving corps with the team definitely looking to expand Beasley's role with the extension, etc. I was saying more so that a vet of his caliber with deep speed would make sense if a luxury piece were to be added (doubtful unless injury to Dez).

I don't know that he's done. He did catch 80 balls for 900+ yards for a team with no QB.

Sure he isn't the dynamic big play threat he was 6 or 7 years ago, but I think he would be a solid #2.

Problem with that is he supposedly wanted out of Houston due to a declining role in the offense. Would he take a reduced role on a playoff team with versus a reduced role on a team still without a QB? Maybe, maybe not.

We need someone with punt and kickoff return skills as well as WR skills to likely replace D Harris. May have to be through the Draft.

For the right price, I'd love to see him be the #2 with Dez.

Negative. He's lost more than just a step.

I wish there was a Free Agent combine. These guys like Johnson and Peterson should have to go out there and show what kind of shape they're in before they get any money.

I love Andre Johnson and I think he could still be a factor on the right team. He does, however, have a lot of mileage on those legs. He has taken a lot of big hits and has started to get the nagging injuries associated with them.

It's hard for me to say it, but I would rather pass unless the deal is very team friendly.

Not sure if you are joking? Starting this year there is a veterans Combine. It is not mandatory though.
