Texans schedule Patriots for homecoming

Last year, the Texans got all riled up and wore their fancy new letter jackets to New England, and promptly took a 42-14 beating.

Now, they’re trying to double down on motivational fodder by scheduling the Patriots for homecoming.

The Texans announced themes for each of their home games on the team’s official website, most of them designed to honor someone or a charity or fan appreciation day or some such.

Good gosh. Houston never will figure out the whole professional sports thing. What a joke.

Damn Houston! Do they really want to get annihilated on their home opener vs New England? They crushed twice last season by the Pats.

When I was younger I always thought "Homecoming" was for when you went on maybe a long road trip and had your first game back in a while.

But apparently it was more for encouraging alumni to come back home for a game.

Either way it doesn't really make sense for the Houston Texans, what are the player's wives going to wear those giant badge/mum things?
