AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas athletic director Steve Patterson said Tuesday that he's not looking to schedule a nonconference football matchup against Texas A&M, at least not in the short term, because he's more concerned about expanding the Longhorns' brand with more opportunities for games outside the United States.

Anybody else read this and kinda wonder if Patterson is spending too much time with the Crack Pipe? How on earth can you think that College Football in China is going to expand the Brand more then playing ATM?

Yeah, the overseas stuff is a bit overboard.

And I can fully understand nixing the A&M game for a few years, but at some point the demand will be too strong to ignore.

I can understand that too but don't come out and say something as galactically stupid as, "Wanna Play In China Instead!"
