I hate Rick Barnes. Cannot respect a man who dissed Dean Smith the way he did.

I think it's about time to get over it. It was 10 years ago and I'm quite sure that even Dean Smith forgave him over that. I think it's sad that Carolina fans still hold that grudge towards a Barnes for that incident.

Oh and Texas 2007= Ewing Theory. Damion James was a beast in the 2nd half.

The exact reason I love Rick Barnes. The great Dean Smith, two titles both handed to him in the final seconds by bonehead plays. How in the world did Carolina not win more titles with all that talent?

Does a player have to be with a team more than a year for it to be classified as the Ewing Theory? Though Kevin Durant was seen as THE Longhorn hoops team, so I can agree with this somewhat.

Stuck in Seattle earning millions of dollars or playing college ball in Austin. I live in Austin and love it, but if they payed me millions of dollars to go to Seattle I would. What if Durant blew his knee out and never played again? He has already earned money to have an easy life at this point. That would not be the case if he stayed at Texas.

What if there was a rule that prohibited guys from leaving until their junior year or even their senior year? Think of the team Texas could have with Durant, Alridge in the middle and Daniel Gibson just camping out for 3 pointers along with the current team that is playing well. Of course several other programs would have some strong teams if they could keep some of their players that left early.

think about this for a second....right now UT could have....gibson, aldridge, tucker, durant.....and then add in the current roster.
absolutely crazy the talent that barnes has gotten there. if only some of these guys would stick around! doh!
