I was at the game..Great game. One reason they didn't try to run much(not that they are very good at it anyway) is because Kansas decided to sell out on the run. Last week Baylor sold out to stop the pass, and Texas ran a lot and well.

I think he is set on being an Auburn Tiger.

Texas just needs to add Jeffcoat and Darius to this class and they will be set for awhile.

The 09-10 class could very well put Texas to the next level if those guys pan out. Gilbert is looking like a bigtime prospect too.

Supposedly Seastrunk to Texas just ain't gonna happen, don't even think they two sides communicate anymore. Sounds like he's a heavy USC lean. Or Auburn, teammate is going there. No telling really though, he's all over the place. Has said his decision in the end will be funny, or something like that. So it may be a big surprise.

I think they get Jeffcoat, and have a 50-50 shot at 5 star linebacker Jordan Hicks from Ohio. Then there's Darius White the top WR in the state, and the "mystery recruit" who is Mike Davis from Skyline supposedly. They have a shot at all of those, which would leave them with a sick, sick, class.

Well, I would be shocked if Hicks didn't go to Ohio State but if he doesn't, it may well come down to who wins the NC game. His last visit is to Florida on 12/11 to Florida. It could be who wins that game.

I would also be surprised if Jeffcoat signed with somebody other then his Dad. Would be hard to fault the kid for that but I'd sure like to see that.

I thought Davis had already commited to LSU. I'd be shocked if he went away from that but I don't know.

Mike Davis contacted Texas a few weeks ago..almost committed then, now just waiting for his season to end in the playoffs and he'll supposedly commit to Texas.

Some think the top two for Hicks are Texas and Florida with OSU in third. The bad thing he'll be on a high with his visit to Florida coming so late. Maybe if Florida loses to Alabama that will help. Wouldn't be surprised if he stayed close to home though. I think they have a 70% or so shot to get Jeffcoat.

Darius White is another guy Texas wasn't recruiting due to his lack of interest and he contacted Texas. Made an official visit to the game Sat, which went well..as of now he has a visit to OU scheduled for Sat. The 'experts' say if he goes through with it, he'll end up there..if he cancels, Texas. Should know within a few days.
