Texas has a bunch of really dumb players. Strong has some tough work to do to change the atmosphere of that team.

OU offense looks scared. Texas shutting down the run and forcing Knight to do ANYTHING passing the ball and he's not

I really thought OU would blow out the Horns in this one. Texas outplayed the Sooners on both sides of the ball and dominated, except on special teams and the scoreboard. The scoreboard is what matters most, unfortunately. Still, in years past, the Horns would have folded and faded away and let the Sooners just curb stomp them. This year, they fought and fought, no matter how much they kept getting down. They never gave up.
One issue that needs to be dealt with is the center QB exchange near the goal. Twice in two weeks that exchange cost Texas points. Last week it cost them a FG or TD, when there was a fumble. This week, it cost them a TD. If they have a good exchange and convert that into a TD, they go for one later instead of 2, and the game is 31-31. OU would have had the ball with a chance to drive for a score, but instead of running, they would have been passing, and I believe that would have favored the Texas D.
Texas also needs to shore up the ST play. They have given up a TD two weeks in a row. Also, a very poor and stupid 15 yd penalty on that punt led to an OU fg.
The defense is playing some very good football, just need to force some turnovers against good teams. The offense showed up for 3 quarters, took a leave of absence in the 3rd Q. But ST has consistently been poor this year......and that was once a very strong unit and one of the better ones in the nation.
I'm upset about the loss, but not as much as in years past. I love the fight. I love the no quit attitude. I am definitely seeing a positive culture change with this team, and that has me excited about the future. This year and possibly next is about laying the foundation for the Strong culture. Once the foundation is complete, get ready for quite a grand and magnificent house to be built
