Texas people, need help planning a trip

Please tell more about San Antonio. Will book a 3 night hotel starting December 26. What are some good hotels by the River to enjoy the bars and restaurants with the best strategic location? Thanks my friend.

Like I said, I lived there so I never had any use for hotels but there is a sweet Marriott by the river walk. I use to sit outside the HardRock café and enjoy a few beers or margarita while watching the world walk by. As for good food... it's everywhere, you really can't go wrong. I liked a place called Casa Rio but it's all good up and down the river walk.

Yep, the Marriott is the place to be. Lots of good food in the area, for seafood/Italian, I prefer Paesanos. Lobster bisque, Caesar salad and shrimp Paesanos can't be beat
