Safety Kenny Vaccaro had an impressive day. He didn't run the 40 because of a hip flexor injury, but he displayed a burst, lateral movement and quickness while performing position drills for Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. Vaccaro said he's studied various defenses, including the Tampa 2, and is getting ready for the NFL game from a mental standpoint. Vaccaro said he was disappointed he couldn't run the 40, but indicated that he has run it in the low 4.40s during training. Vaccaro injured the hip while working out but re-injured it during his drill session with the Cowboys last week. After three drills, Vaccaro shut it down so he wouldn't further injure himself. Vacarro said his goal is to be the first safety taken in the draft.

Vaccaro, Richardson, Warmack, or Cooper are who I am hoping we can pull in the 1st. Would be happy with any of them.

Put them in reverse order and we are in agreement 100% on this matter.

Sadly, the Cowboys pushed him upward on their draftboard because he is currently injured.

I guess that's the thing to do since the Bengals, Steelers, and Rams are all also high on Vaccaro and there is a good chance Vaccaro will be picked at 16 or 17.

Goodwin posted a 42" Vert (1st). 11' Broad (2nd), a 4.21 40 (1st), a 2.41 20 (1st) and a 1.50 10 (1st).

He is looking more and more interesting.

In the Morning News today Vaccaro said that Dallas just put him through a couple of drills then took him out to eat. They told him that they really like him alot and hope he's there at 18.

The DMN said today that he also looked good in receiving drills and made a couple of tough catches on bullet-balls from Vince Young.

Suprisingly, they said Young looked to be in really good shape and, as we already know, has a cannon arm. One guy said he even showed accuracy. Maybe he meant relative to other days, I don't know.

Goodwin claims that Young helped the both of them get more money.

Heard the same thing DFW. I suspect that Young may find his way onto a roster this spring. Always a use for Vet QBs who have winning records. Somebody will give him a chance.

They did the same thing with Merriman, but chose Ware instead. It's the "kiss of death" luncheon.

I assume if they have dinner with a player they're not going to tell they don't like them.
Sure am glad we took Ware though.
