I think this season will be a mess.

A lot depends right now on Harrison's back. If he's good and able to take the ball every 5th then I think we have enough to make due till Holland would be back. Darvish, Harrison and Perez is an acceptable top 3. Ogando is very effective when he's healthy. The 5th starter will have to be used on April 8th probably and then again 7 days later on the 15th, because of off days. Best guesses for the 5th starter at this point are Tepesch, Ross, and maybe Lewis but not sure about the state of his rehab. I think we're a good stretch away from mess at this point, especially considering the offense should be significantly better then last year.

I hope we don't panic and give Ubaldo 4 years. We do have a budget after all. Think we want to keep Kirkman as the 2nd-lefty in the pen because he's out of options but has a good arm so Ross will be given every chance to win the last spot in the rotation. Plus:

I don't know if there is any truth to the rumor but it's been rumored that Ubaldo Jimenez will be a Yankee, even if the Yankees sign Tanaka.

I don't know if that's true or not but I've heard that more then once.

Injured his knee in a "fall at home." Call me a skeptic, but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out later that he was hurt in basketball or skiing, or something else that likely is prohibited in his contract.

He reportedly tripped over his dog.

So if the Rangers miss the playoffs this year... You'll know who to blame. :D

His dog is a Boxer.........hit him with a sucker punch to the kneecap.

At least it's not a weight-bearing surface, so he should actually be good by June 1.

Heard we're looking at Maholm. Good fit because he's an extreme groundball pitcher and we have an awesome IF D.
