Heaney to his credit did a nice job last night even got the win. Exactly what was needed put zeroes on the scoreboard while the offense went to work on the DBacks non existent game 4 pitching answer .

Rangers definitely in the driver's seat. When you get a strong performance from your #4 SP, it really gives a team a big advantage. Zona is in a bad spot right now, but it seems like they've been in bad spots all season and pulled it out.

I think Zona wins tonight and then we win game 6 at home behind Montgomery.

I hope they can finish it tonight. They are undefeated the entire post season on the road but just 2-4 at home. I'd be a little nervous if it goes back to Texas plus how cool would it be to win every game on the road the entire playoffs? It's never been done and likely will never be done again.

I get it. But it would be really cool to win it at home. I hope they do win tonight. Evoldi is a stud

Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today. A sweep would’ve been complete on the road. The local fans will get to celebrate with the team on their return if they can close it out tonight.

Makes me a little nervous we were up 11-1 and they won 11-7. That's some late bad pitching but I'm glad we won obviously. I just want them to blow them out and close tonight. I don't want any flashbacks. Just do it.

I really hope we can just close it out tonight. The longer this extends, the more pressure is on us. Watching sports over time, 3-1 series can turn in a hurry when the trailing team wins that game 5. Gives them confidence and momentum. A few series that come to mind right away is Clippers/Lakers in 2015 NBA playoffs. Houston down 3-1 and looked dead. Then reeled off 3 straight. And the most infamous one, Cleveland down 3-1 to the Warriors in the 2016 Finals. Cleveland wins game 5 and then wins 2 more straight to win it all. When you smell blood, you got to close it out asap and not let that wounded animal gain any life. And we have seen it over and over again in football. Teams get a good lead but just can't deliver that knockout blow and the other team staggers around long enough, gains life and ends up coming back to win. We have seen this a lot as Cowboys fans.

Game 6 would worry me because Kelly made this offense look silly in game 2. And Montgomery while only gave up 2 runs through 5, he ended up melting down and was pulled. I mean hopefully Kelly wouldn't be as effective his second game after this offense has more film and tendencies on him. And a game 7 would not feature Max as originally thought. Although he hasn't been that great or reliable these playoffs.

I thought we pulled Heaney and Dunning a little earlier than I'd like but with a 10 run lead, Bochy wants to save both for future use if we need them, most likely a game 7. And we went to our scrub bullpen guys to eat up the rest of those outs which caused game 2 to get out of control when they blew the game open. Those aren't guys you will see when the game is close. Didn't like using Leclerc, though. But you can't worry about how Leclerc will do if he has to go 3 games in a row. You need to close that game out in front of you and Bochy brought in his closer he trusts to shut down anything Arizona got going.

Burke who replaced Max was awful.

The score did get closer but the game was never in doubt really 2nd inning on. It's like those football and basketball games where the team trailing by a ton make it look respectable against the other's teams scrubs.

The two run single off LeClerc was a nice pitch he hit it off the end of the bat . I expect Eovaldi to be locked in . I think Az is in trouble .

We need the Eovaldi who started game 1. Had filthy stuff that Arizona had no idea what to with. We don't need the Eovaldi that followed those innings with the guy who made some mistakes and they started to square up and connect every inning. I'd love another fast start like last night to get a lead early.

I’m concerned about Kelly as well if it hoes to game 6, but he’s not iron-clad. Philly tagged him and so can the Rangers. They have to be patient and, hopefully, a different plate umpire.

I don't trust our Six Flags home crowd to pull them through a win in game 6 or 7....would probably spend more time doing the wave then watching and cheering loudly....take care of it tonite, and celebrate in the outfield pool like the Dodgers did nine (9) years ago.
