...heard the criticism. That was the loudest crowd I've ever heard at Texas Stadium.

I hope they keep it up.

True, but why do they feel the need to Boo after every incompletion?

Alot of fans do that. Most of the fans of today, in any sports is all about what have you done for me lately.

I think they thought we had traded for Joey Harrington and/or Tommy Maddox....

I personally thought the Texas Stadium crowd sucked today. JJT is right. They have no clue of when to cheer and when to shut up.

The crowd today was very loud. Such a good time. Sadly, too many Broncos fans, but no worries. We got loud when we needed to. It got insanely loud when the Broncos were down on their 1, right before the Newman fumble recovery. Perhaps why they false started.

I was at the game. And u can say the crowd sucked or whatever. But it was rocking to me... I had a great time...

One thing u guys have to realize... alot of times the crowd is hyped up and ready to go and there's a freaking TV timeout... or penalty or some other delay of game. and the horrible half-time show really took the wind out of everybody. I like Sheryl Crow, but she did nothing for me... It took almost to the middle of the 3rd quarter for everybody to get that same intensity of the first half...

Another thing is they use props to get the crowd lathered up for the next series during those TV timeouts. The problem is they start them too early, IMO. And it's hard to sustain until they line up...

But honestly, I'm tired of folks yakking on TS crowd and you're not there... U can't imagine the noisiness of the crowd when you're watching on TV... I mean Sun. crowd was weak but that whole game was dull... All the penalties and delays literally killed whatever excitement fans might have had...

And as for knowing when to be quiet and when to yell.. There were ALOT of Bronco fans in the stadium.. Spread out, no doubt, but enuff to make some noise...

But really, I'm sad we lost, but it was a really good game. U can't knock the effort those guys played with...

BTW, I actually saw a kid wearing a RANDALL Williams jersey... :D

Well when you throw it at your intended target's feet enough, that tends to happen.

But then again, look at the protection Bledsoe received... not very much if ya ask me.

Dont waste your time trying to explain things. Some people heard about this and will just beat it into the ground.

The crowd was intense. Such a great game to be at my first home Cowboys game. Worth the trip from NJ. Haha

Too bad Billy missed the FG, but the game shouldn't have been on his foot. Newman INT, Glenn drop screen, whatever. Win at NYG, we are fine.

Flying back to NJ in a day, then to the NYG game, yeaaa. Anyone going there?

Like me! I have been to 4 different games at Texas Stadium, and still have a prob with it all.

Watching on T.V. is different, but you can't deny that other stadiums such as Lincoln Financial, Invesco Field at Mile High, and Arrowhead don't come up big when it counts! Because they all do. Those stadiums put the TWELVE in 12th man.

Cowboy's fans need to wake up IMHO! And that is coming from a guy who has been there more than a few times!

I'm charging it to fan-envy. Can't be there, so you hate on those who are... :)

It's annoying. Cuz I've been to three games this season and 2 of those three have been on fire...

I think like many fans of many sports, it really does depend on the opponent. I mean the game w/Det was dull as dishwater and had ALOT more fans in the stands than they did today. I saw blocks of empty seats all across TS today and it sounded almost louder than even at the Skins - ROH game...

And then demand that we fire, release, drop, deactivate, trade, place on waivers, or substitute with the 2nd/3rd/4th stringer!

I believe ya, and that is awesome. But you can still tell that Cowboy's fans as a whole aren't pulling their weight. We honestly do not have a 12th man, and it is rather sad.

JJT is right. The common fan at Texas Stadium does not know when to cheer, and when not too.

I have been going to at least 2 games per year for the last 10 years. I think I know a little something about the crowd at TS.

But anyway, I have outlined what I know to be what the problem is, but I just dont have the energy nor will power to get into it any further. Whenever I see one of these threads from now on, I will just do the right thing and look elsewhere.

I aint gonna let you guys ruin my 4 day weekend with another thread about how quiet the fans of TS are.

I think I will send Rich Dalrymple, the head of PR an email stating he should start directing the fans to throw batteries and start fighting each othe and aslo hire a judge to be present at every game like you know who does :D . Maybe then we will develop a decent reputation.

Let me get back to my madden game.

Watching the game on TV.....the crowd seemed to very quiet at too many key moments when they needed to be raising hell. I've been to many games at Tex stadium over the years and today was not the loudest it's been over 4 qtrs. by far. I can recall going to several games where people looked at me as if I was crazy because I was screaming my arse off. Too many people here in the Dallas area just go to watch and are too conservative to have fun cheering the team on.

Well I tried myself too. Seems like its guy who rarely ever go to the stadium do the most complaining.

Although, I think TS, for some reason, is not properly sound engineered, for the lack of proper word. I have been to three different stadiums other than Texas Stadium. All those stadiums for some reason, even with less crowd, made more noise seems like than Texas Stadium.

But man, game against Commanders on Monday night, is the loudest I have ever seen a crowd be in any games I have been in Texas Stadium or elsewhere.
