Have never been. Planned on making the trek a couple of years ago but never happened. I’m on their mailing list. Worth going to, is it really big?

I haven't been in over 10 years, but I believe it is the biggest state fair in the country. I know it will cost me an arm and a leg.

Texas State Fair is I think the last one that is still several weeks long. Many state fairs are not even a week long anymore

Anything fried.
Sure. All their corn dogs are good and they've got a Dominican Fritura that's similar to salami and cheese on a stick fried in corn dog batter. I didn't have one but the Wagyu bacon cheeseburger deviled egg sliders fried looked awesome.

Went last weekend. The rides were like $10 per person. The Ferris wheel was $16 per person. Insane pricing
Yeah, they are ruining it with the pricing. You can get a season pass for Six Flags for less than it takes to get into the grounds and ride 1 ride.
