State playoffs underway with most of the smaller school games completed. Just watched Aledo (Dallas area) wreck Smithson Valley (San Antonio area) 51-8. This was the 5A Div1 game. Tomorrow the 5A Div.II game will start featuring Port Neches-Groves (from down on the Gulf Coast near the Louisiana border 320 miles from Jerry World) playing 2x defending champs from South Oak Cliff from just 16 miles from AT&T Stadium starting at 11AM. Then the big schools play


Conference 6A Division I – Galena Park North Shore (15-0) vs. Duncanville (13-1) 3 p.m.

Conference 6A Division II – Humble Summer Creek (14-1) vs. DeSoto (14-0) 7 p.m.

$20 for admission for one or 3 games.
